Proud sponsors of the Bristol Pitbulls
A city of independents, and a club that pulls a crowd from three counties.
Revilicious is built for independent businesses and event organisers who want to hear from more than the vocal few. Bristol is full of exactly those businesses, and the Bristol Pitbulls put us in front of thousands of the people who use them, week after week, from across the South West and South Wales.
A city that runs on independents. A club that draws a region.
Why Bristol
Not one high street, but a dozen of them.
Most cities of Bristol’s size funnel their retail and hospitality into one centre and a few chains. Bristol works differently. It is really a collection of villages that grew into each other, and each one kept its own trading street: Gloucester Road, North Street, Stokes Croft, Whiteladies, St Marks Road, Clifton Village, St Nicholas Market. Between them they hold one of the densest concentrations of independent shops, cafés, restaurants, bars, salons and small services anywhere in the country.
Those businesses share a commercial reality. They compete on reputation and on whether people come back, not on price or footfall bought with a national marketing budget. They are the businesses Revilicious was built for, and there is an unusual number of them within a short drive of each other.
Why the Pitbulls
A full winter of home nights, and a catchment that crosses the Severn.
The Pitbulls play in the NIHL National League, and fill Planet Ice at Cribbs Causeway right through the winter. The rink sits on the motorway network rather than in the city centre, which is the point: supporters come from across Bristol, out through South Gloucestershire and Somerset, and over the bridge from South Wales. That is a regional crowd arriving at a fixed place on a fixed night, over and over across a season.
It is also a live event in its own right, with everything that comes with one: a bar, a food offer, a matchnight experience and an audience with an opinion about all of it. That makes the club directly relevant to both halves of what we do, the independent businesses in the stands and the event running around them. Sponsoring a club with that reach gives Revilicious sustained, repeated visibility in front of the South West audience we are launching into. Our mark has been on the shoulders of the Pitbulls jersey since the 2025/26 season, and it stays there for 2026/27.
What we’re aiming for
Get known locally, then get useful.
A new product has to become a familiar name before a café owner or a salon will try it. A season in front of a regional crowd does that faster than advertising into a market where nobody has heard of you.
After that, the work is the same as it always is: independent businesses, venues and event organisers across Bristol and the South West using Revilicious and telling us where it earns its place and where it falls short. Enquiries we can count, businesses we work with directly, and results with real numbers behind them.
